Glassdrumman Cottage has loads of space for everyone to find their own individual relaxing place to unwind, whether it is in the main sitting area in front of the wood burning stove, the sun room with it's view over the front garden or the upstairs gallery with the outside balcony.
The main sitting area has two comfortable settees with plenty of cushions making it a really comfortable area to relax in front of the wood burning stove. We try and ensure that the fire is blazing whenever guests arrive, especially those arriving later in the day and definitely if the weather is wet, cold or windy. The wood burning stove and inglenook fireplace provide a focal point in the cottage and we ensure that the stove is reset evey day and an ample supply of logs are always provided. Sitting on the settee you can take in the many pictures and paintings of landscapes and places and things of local interest.

Upstairs via the wrought iron spiral staircase is the gallery area with TV, DVD player, PS2 and a collection of classic and current movies for all the family. The walls of gallery area are lined with pictures and paintings of Northern Ireland landscapes and landmarks. This area is a favourite with families as the kids can have their own space while the adults relax down stairs. A chest in the corner is filled with board games for all ages to enjoy.
The sun room was an addition to the cottage and connects the original building to the old adjacent stone barn. It has full length windows that ensures this area catches all of any sun available and you can look out over the front garden and BBQ area. The sun room has a stone feature wall and is equipped with a CD player and a selection of music CD's, a collection of books with an Irish connection, and a number of contemporary Irish paintings. The light and the comfortable seating make the sun room a perfect place to read your favourite book or listen to some soothing music.
